The President of the Madagascar Republic welcomed the emissary of the African Union. Hery Rajaonarimampianina is the President of the malagasy republic. Mr Lakhdar Brahimi paid a courtesy visit to present the objectives of the African Union ’s missions. The evaluation of the post-electoral situation in consolidating peace was part of the discussion. The results of this evaluation will be presented at the next African Union Summit.
