Madagascar at the 2014 Colmar International Travel and Tourism Fair
The National Tourism Office of Madagascar (ONTM) is continuing its efforts to promote the island as the year draws to a close. Madagascar attended the World Travel Market in London from 3 to 6 November, the Colmar International Travel and Tourism Fair from 7 to 9 November to strengthen the reputation it developed in 2013 when Madagascar was the guest of honour, the Indian Ocean Fair in Réunion from 6 to 11 November and the CITM in Shanghai from 14 to 16 November 2014.
ROAD SHOW
A roadshow to meet tour operators from Prague, Budapest and Warsaw is also planned for the end of November. In addition, twenty journalists from Germany, England, Italy and Russia have been invited to Madagascar by the National Tourism Office of Madagascar so that they can experience the diversity of its tourism for themselves in mid-November. Chinese and South Korean travel agents will be guests of the National Tourism Office of Madagascar at the beginning of December, following the participation of the National Tourism Office of Madagascar and Air Madagascar in roadshows and trade fairs in Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul and Busan in the first six months of 2014.
